Ran to my local HBS to exchange my backup CO2 tank. The one that's on is about to kick.
Oh yes...you just don't see it at the time!No sarcasm, but those frustrations are still golden moments.
That can be fixed if it doesn’t dissipate on its own. Sounds delicious.Sniffed the Pear-Agave Cider. It's a little egg-farty, but that could be a couple things. I used a new wine yeast for this batch, so maybe it sulfurs up naturally. Or, and I realized this after I was worried the lag time might be too long, I didn't look at the ingredients for the FAJC (it was just hanging out in the freezer unused) I threw in and there may have been preservatives or something that has stressed the yeast.
Either way, it's ripping along and I may add some extra sugars in form of more Pear or Prickly Pear juices. Note to self, buy organic, JackA$$!
240, 241, whatever it takes.Installed a 240V Circuit for the eventual migration to electric. Dropped in a 30A GFCI Breaker and a 14-30 Receptacle View attachment 848867
You laugh but my service is delivering 236v to the receptacle240, 241, whatever it takes.
Yes! I was in the same boat. Took baby steps to get the garage squared away and now I've been doing stuff for beer three weekends in a row! Also for some reason (could be the absolute sh*tshow that is my garage) haven't been feeling the brewing vibe.
Why would you add Campden to boil? You dont do that. Do you mean Whirlfloc or Irish Moss? If so, Wheats don't get any clarifier. Cloudy is the specialty of the day for them. I'm confused over the Campden thing.Brewed a wheat beer to ad peaches to and as i was adding the final addition at 10 minutes remembered I never added a campden tablet!
Yep, you could be correct. Water conditioning to get rid of chlorine...maybe he uses city tap water.
