Trying to start up 5gal hard cider project. Last time I fermented was 5yrs ago. Gave my carboy a good cleaning and sat in Star sans overnight but I still have small remnants tucked into the grooves at the bottom. Do you think it’s safe?

if you have PBW, or oxyclean free, i would let that sit in warm, not hot, water to try to remove it.
I personally like the clean of the squeaky variety.
Overly hot water will stress carboy glass. The results can be dangerous.I second the oxy - works like a charm. Why not HOT water?
