Sounds right to me."Recoverable mash deadspace". That's what I'm trying to understand. If I'm not using the malt pipe, I shouldn't have any dead space, for mashing purposes. If I recirculate, the wort from the bottom moves over the grain bed and technically all the water has access to all the grain?
