Different voltages in 16/4 awg wire

In fact purely DC signals run over parallel wires could likely travel an infinite distance without cross-talk. But, if there's a switched inductive load on one of those "DC" wires, there can be voltage spikes on one that can induce noise in the other. Generally we do indeed use twisted pairs and...

    Spot the Space Station

First time I saw that video I nearly screamed "Why did they cut the first angle shot before the nozzles hit the water FFS!" 🤬

    Hop Plant Help

I'm thinking we've had a wet couple of weeks lately, maybe it's just that? How many shoots are you growing per crown now? If it's more than 4 I'd cut back to that. Cheers!

Kegerator Tubing Size and Length for Stout Question

As the stout faucet provides all the restriction needed to operate at its recommended gas pressure you just need enough line to make the trip from keg to shank. I use 4mm ID EVABarrier tubing throughout, run my non-stout faucets at 11 psi with 6.5 foot lines, and my 70/30 35psi beer gas line to...

Thermal shock kills carboys and maims their owners. Don't do that. Keep Delta-T under 5°F always... Cheers!

    Temp Controller With Schedule

fwiw, as this thread started with the desire for temperature "scheduling" aka "profiles", from the Rapt Controller manual: "Note: You can not make a Temperature Profile on the RAPT Temperature Controller itself. It mustbe made and started from the RAPT Portal first and then it will be...

    Spot the Space Station

Come to think of it, that picture has to be a "before" as they didn't have an opportunity to get an "after"... It looks like there are small features just below the booster's grid fins that will catch on the chopsticks. Here's a pretty cool animation...

    Spot the Space Station

I am totally shocked at how little damage that this starboard flap shows considering what the in-flight video was showing during re-entry

    Loving Marris Otter - Yum!!!

That's exactly what I've been doing for the last four+ years. Simpson's GP and Weyermann Pilsner is a tasty combination that keeps the beer color very light gold - which I greatly prefer for my hazies... Cheers! :mug:

    Temp Controller With Schedule

fwiw, the MKII is programmed directly at the unit while the Rapt controller requires web access and an account with the Rapt portal - it cannot be programmed locally. The MKII "sequential profile" granularity is practically one day per entry with up to 12 sequential temperature entries...
