Sparge Arm/Recirculation for Spike Brewing System Mash Tun

In that picture, it's the NPT threaded port version so a threaded to TC adapter was used.

HELP: All hoppy beers develop same flavor

A 5.5 gallon, 1.060 calls for two packs if not rehydrating. Once you jump up above 1.060 the recommended pitch "rate" also goes up so 5.5 gallons of 1.070 goes up to 3 packs if not rehydrating.

    4 gauge secondary for kegerator?

If you use the 5mm ID EVA tubing (still 5/16 or 8mm OD), you can absolutely stretch it over 5/16" barbs if you use a swaging tool.

    Temp Controller With Schedule

For clarity, the Rapt controller doesn't rely on wireless connectivity unless you're thinking of the Pill. The Rapt is just a very functional "inkbird" type controller that has better automation and a color screen.

The Rapt controller is pretty sweet.

    4 gauge secondary for kegerator?

It's even on the one door "deluxe". I just dragged one home "for research".

    4 gauge secondary for kegerator?

how important in your opinion is aeration, starter and yeast nutrition?

More yeast for: Suppressing esters Fermenting colder (to suppress esters more) Very High OG Moderately higher OG when you don't want to rehydrate (since you're going to kill some yeast due to the high osmotic pressure). Less chance of post fermentation lingering byproducts Less yeast for...

HELP: All hoppy beers develop same flavor

I vote for acetaldehyde. The process seems pretty solid for oxidation and the lack of color change is somewhat supportive. Describe your yeast selections and how you figure out pitch rate, if at all.

    Hoppy Golden Strong Ale

Apollo at anything other than 60min is a bit of a garlic bomb.

how important in your opinion is aeration, starter and yeast nutrition?

It definitely explains why there are conflicting answers. Everyone has different goals, or maybe better stated as various levels of mastery to get he exact beer you want. Some people are tuned to perfectly acceptable decent beer.

how important in your opinion is aeration, starter and yeast nutrition?

It's not a one size fits all answer. How challenging is the ferment? High OG and desired level of attenuation is harder on yeast. Lager or ale? Do you want more yeast character or less? How old is the pack of liquid yeast? Those are just a few questions that will change the best practices...

    Single temp pilsner malt

Weyermann Barke is highly modified and will yield great extraction at a single rest.

    Multiple Concurrent Small Batch Brewing

I think you just did. It's time to start gathering ideas on how to flex the capabilities. I think I want to compile a list of experiments that everyone can add to and upvote. As the person who has to execute them, I will likely choose one's I find compelling, I bet there are ideas out there that...
