Ok so I figured out what it is.. it's OLD.. it's a Booth, Inc.. Model: Summit...
Booth has since been bought by Scotsman (in 1987 i think).. so this bad boy has been around
I've got it cleaned up.. it works.. i just have to run my water line.. and buy the syrups..
What i need to know...
Thats another problem.. the tag on the side is worn out.. and all i can see is "UL" (underwriters labratories)...
is there usually a place inside of the dispenser that has manufacture names?
Hi Guys..
I'm a brewer.. so.. not much into soda..
I do love a cider (in fact the grahams english cider is a regular brew here!!)
anyway..
I was given a 6 head dispenser.. with pumps, and everything needed to work except one hose is busted.. have to replace that..
but.. i have a...
well.. this was a bit of beer that was going to be tossed...
primary had 6.5 gallosn in it for 14 days, and i racked to secondary,
instead of trashing it, i just bottled it as I hate to waste beer..
hopefully they'll last that long.. i'll just call my neighbors over on friday and we'lld...
I got it off here under "Pliney the Bastid" (Pliney the Elder Clone) Thread under IPA's.. smells great.. I may just pop them on wednesday and recap them again to release a bit of pressure..
I went to beer smith, and I'm not sure if my I was wrong when i put it in the computer, but it says...
Brewed an All grain Pliney the Elder clone..
it was a big boil, and the hops didn't absorb as much as I though they would, so I ended up with 6.5 gallons..
Racked over to secondary after 13 days in primary, and i had (obviously) 1.5 gallons left.
So, i bottled that extra bit.. and...
i just jumped out of my window.. sounds worse than it was, mostly symbolic.. window was only about 3 feet off the ground... but still made my point.. i think the fitting knows I mean business now..
I'm thinking about having him weld it in.. sadly i've already bought the weldless.. i hope that's not a problem.. im so pissed off right now.. i was going to brew pliney the elder today.. now it's a nogo. :( no welders open today that I can find either..
I may try the washer idea.. i'm...
it's not a lip that protrudes out, it's a "dip" more than a "lip".. the bottom 1/4 of the washer is on the skirt of the keg (which flares out a bit) and that's the problem.. I've tried to beat the hell out of the skirt to flatten it out.. but it's stronger than my hammer
