    What are you drinking now?

I really want to try and make their IPA. I saw the youtube vid that the aptbrewer did and it doesn't look that tough, but the ingredients are expensive compared to what I have been brewing. Maybe one day. Rock On!!!!!!!!

    What are you drinking now?

OH, I led off today with a Russian River Experimental IPA. Damned if I can remember it, but it was the last bottle sitting at the Total Wines and more cooler in the back of the store. LOL. Had to try it, not too bad. I'll look it up

    What are you drinking now?

Switching between my Mountain Hazy IPA, that really came out very good and a store bought Hazy Pale Ale called Gummy Worms from a brewery in Sacramento. I had it on a golf course in Auburn and really dug it. I found it at Wines and more for 18 bucks a 12 pack.

    Anchor closing?!

Great news for those who worked there too. Hopefully they will all be back at work doing what they enjoy doing. I might even take a ride out to the tap house with my buddy and taste the liberty ale. Can't say I have ever had that one.

Closed pressure transfer from a plastic fermentation bucket

I am going with what was already said. I use a plastic bucket with a spigot at the bottom. I got it from Northern Brewer along with all the other stuff from the starter kit. I fill the keg with starsan and water and push the liquid thru my tap to sanitize it. When done, I move the sterilized...

Help - possible infection with first ever bottled batch?

Welcome to the group. There are a fantastic group of folks here that will answer questions, give tips and just keep the place going. I use the dishwasher to wash and sanitize my bottles and of yet have not had a problem. But, with that said, I am by no means even a novice yet. So, enjoy the...

    Rest after dry hopping

So, I am at work and watching different Youtube vids. The Apt Brewer is one of my faves, so I was watching one where he was doing a WCIPA. He said something that got me thinking. I always try and time my dry hop addition so that I can package the beer within 3 to 5 days after dry hops are...

    Dry hop process

Thanks for the replies. I dropped it down to 60, there was still liquid in the airlock, so I might have avoided the O2 problem, but I did open the lid for a minute or two to drop the hops in. I have done this for all my dry hop beers, so it is what it is. Gonna let it ride until either friday...

    Dry hop process

OK, so today is the day for my dry hopping. This particular beer has been in the fermenter for about 2 weeks at about 70 to 71 degrees. It appears done so my thought is dry hop today and bottle Friday. My question is, after reading some posts about a "soft crash" during dry hop, would it be...

Sure sounds like a good way to do it. Almost sounds exactly what I do. But I will let the pro's give you the advice. Welcome to the forum.
